Industry Panel Draws Creative Talent from across the State

Local marketing, media, and design professionals host “state of the industry” event for creative professionals in Central Arkansas, featuring a panel discussion and networking.

On Thursday, June 24, an uncommon meeting of designers, marketers, and media creators will converge at The Studio in Downtown Conway to share ideas, spotlight trends, and spark collaboration among creative professionals across Central Arkansas. The event includes a panel of industry leaders who will discuss trends and innovations in branding, content creation, design, and storytelling. Panelists include Adena White (Black Belt Voices; Conway Chamber of Commerce), Rob Bell (Eric Rob & Isaac), Drew Spurgers (Kanga Studio), and Jessica Crum (Silverlake Design Studio). The event is free and open to the public.

The goal of the event is to promote and strengthen the culture of collaboration and mutual support among design and marketing professionals in Central Arkansas. The event will also highlight the growth of jobs in the state related to design, marketing, and media creation. According to projections by the Arkansas Division of Workforce Services, labor market demand for professional design and marketing service jobs will grow from 5.48% in 2018 to 21.90% in 2028. The projections anticipate an increase of 4,407 jobs in Arkansas by 2028.

Host of the event, the Creative Institute, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to connect students with creative careers they love. The Institute is inviting young creatives and students to attend the event, learn about opportunities in the field, and connect with professionals and leaders in the industry.
